Carlos & Mandy's Engagement

Carlos and Mandy live their days near the sandy beaches of Virginia...and would you believe they flew all the way to Omaha just to see ME! Ok, well, and some family, I suppose, but just let me think what I want to think, makes me feel loved anyway. So, we met up and they proceeded to...uh, well, sneak me onto the air force base. Carlos is a fireman who used to work on the base here in Omaha, so we went back to see his old buddies. One of them, and I apologize, I don't remember this kind man's name, but he pulled out the ladder truck and patiently waited while I snapped some shots. We were a little restricted, in that he wouldn't let Mandy climb on the firetruck, or go anywhere near the ladder, which would have been a super cool picture, but I completely understand the liability issues there, and we got quite a few shots, none the less. Then we headed off base to take some more in the park. It was a beautiful day for pictures and I can't wait for their wedding next year! Thanks to you both and to the guys at the fire house! Oh, and can I just say, I LOVE the picture up there of Carlos holding the fireman's hat up in front of them kissing... 2CUTE!
